Our Classic clip-in Collection is made from 100% remy human hair and is perfect for adding more volume and length to your natural hair. The Classic Collection comes with 10 wefts – or pieces – that can be easily clipped into and removed from your natural hair. This Collection is perfect for those with medium to thicker hair densities, and the wefts are made with a flexible fabric-stitched weft that can be used to add a small boost of volume at the root where the natural hair lays over the weft. Classic Clip-In Hair Extensions CollectionClip-in Luxy Hair extensions are made from 100% remy human hair and feature a combination of varied hair lengths to mimic your natural hair best (also known as single-drawn hair). They come straight and can be styled to waves or curls using hot tools.Our extensions are dyed using a multi-tonal adapt coloring system, which means there are subtle highlights and lowlights (lighter and darker strands) throughout each set. This gives it movement, dimension, and depth. It also ensures that the extensions blend with your natural hair, even if your hair color is slightly different. Q:What is the difference between the Highlight & Balayage collections?A:The Highlights collection features thin highlights starting from the root straight through to the ends. This collection is designed to blend into hair that has already been highlighted, eliminating the need to get your hair extensions custom-dyed. This is great for those looking to further accentuate their highlights.The Balayage collection features hand-painted highlights that start several inches from the root with darker pieces left at the bottom to give the hair that extra depth and dimension. This collection is great for those who have a solid hair color and are looking for a damage-free way to add sun-kissed dimension to their hair. Q:I have Ombre/highlights in my hair. Can I still wear Balayage?A:Yes. Balayage extensions will blend even if you have Ombre or highlights in your hair. If you have Ombre, the Balayage extensions will add more color and dimension higher up. If you have highlights, the Balayage extensions will add more color towards the ends.All Luxy Hair extensions come with a sample weft, therefore, you can take out the weft and hold it up against your hair to see if you’re happy with the blend. If you feel it’s not a good fit, we’ll be happy to accept your package back for a return or exchange. Q:Will Balayage extensions work, even if my hair isn’t balayage?A:Yes. Clip-in extensions are a great way to experiment with color, without the full-time commitment or damage to your natural hair. In order for the extensions to blend, we recommend ensuring that your hair matches the root color of the extensions. Q:How far down the weft do the Balayage highlights start?A:The Balayage highlights start several linches from the base of the weft. Q:Can I cut the Balayage extensions shorter?A:Yes. Like all of our extensions, our balayage sets can be cut, trimmed and layered. The more you cut from the ends, however, the more it will take away from the balayage effect at the bottom. Q:Are your Balayage colors available in sample swatches?A:We do offer sample swatches for our Balayage and Highlights shades! We're happy to offer these color swatches to our customers. If you place an order for a sample swatch, you will receive a small lock of hair that is dyed perfectly to reflect the colors we offer in our full sets. Q:Can I curl and straighten my hair extensions?A:Just like your own hair, Luxy Hair extensions can be straightened, blow-dried, styled and curled. In order to preserve and extend the lifespan of your Luxy Hair extensions, however, we suggest to always use a heat protectant spray prior to styling your set.Additionally, we recommend to only use a low heat setting of 120C/250F, as anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair. The reason why we recommend opting for a lower heat setting is because it will prolong the lifespan of your set. While our own hair may be able to handle a high heat setting, our hair is also constantly getting revitalized from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don't get that sort of constant nutrition. Q:How do I care for my extensions?A:Creating a good routine with your Luxy Hair extensions from the start will help prolong their lifespan. Since they are made from 100% Remy human hair, they can be styled and washed just like your regular hair, however, the more you wash and heat style your extensions, the shorter their lifespan will be, so try to keep washing and product use to a minimum.Please note that unlike our Straight Clip-In Ponytail Extension, the care instructions for the Curly Clip-In Ponytail Extension are different in order to preserve the curl pattern. We don’t recommend dyeing/toning, using water-based products, washing or heat styling (such as straightening, blow-drying or curling). In addition, we recommend only using a wide-tooth comb or your hands to brush through the ponytail.Keep in mind that unlike your own hair, which receives natural hydration from the oils on your scalp, hair extensions don’t have a natural hydration source. Therefore, keeping them hydrated is key to keeping them shiny and in good condition.
