I’ve been a fan of the Masami line for years now - it really works for my fine and frizzy hair, and also I love the soft fresh slightly oceany scent. I took the plunge and ordered the pro-ocean bottles - I liked the idea of a pump application, and having refillable bottles as a more eco-friendly system. I was really happy with them when they arrived - they look really lovely and expensive and they are very sturdy - important to me as I have a stone floor in my shower and if you drop anything glass, it WILL break - I’ve even had plastic bottles shatter, super-annoying. The pump is really nice, esp for my husband who is (a) always stealing my nice shampoo and the large size means I don’t have to hide it from him because he uses way more than I do, and (b) he’s blind as a bat without his glasses and the pump means he’s not fumbling around with lids and screw tops and yep, dropping and breaking them in my shower (how did this review just become about my husband!?) They are large bottles - so just know that if you have a tiny bath - and they look very posh and lux, pumps work great and have not clogged or gotten weird after a month or so of consistent use, the refill system is easy and makes me feel good about choosing an eco-friendly product. I really recommend this whole line, and I love the splurge for the pro-ocean ceramic bottles to make my whole bathroom look a little more like a spa ❤️ I also re-ordered the shine serum (my face, and I have tried ALL the serums and oils in Sephora I think - my hair NEEDS a bit of oil to not frizz up but most of them also make my fine hair pretty limp, this one does not!) and the styling cream is also nice - my husband immediately stole the refill so somehow I am back to using my travel size, we’ll address this in marriage counseling later - but generally I use a bit of both products, add a bit of salt spray for more volume (again, fine hair here) and then blow-dry / curl and am SO much happier with this line than I was even with my former favorites like Living Proof and Olaplex. I still have those around but I notice I use Masami about 90% of the time now. Here’s a photo of the bottles and also a photo of me trying to look glamorous with good hair (ha)
