Sky Portrait 6" x 6" x 2" watercolor on Ampersand Claybord
This portrait was created over 6 skydives. The subject Emily also filmed the outside video for my very first portrait done in the sky.
The learning curve was steep. Clayboard wasn't retaining the marks underneath the masking fluid. Learned a lot.
This watercolor was my very first painting in my women's skydiving portrait series. If you decide to use a process, I've spent 8 yrs in development:
